In 2021 the Yuma County Library District celebrated the centennial of Yuma’s original Carnegie Library which was located at the site of the current Heritage Library. Obtaining a public library for Yuma was a long, difficult process which required the hard work and generosity of many persons. This video aims to recognize some of the individuals and groups that contributed to the realization of early Yuma’s quest for a library.
